Installation & Use

After removing the transit packaging, the Bosch Tumble Dryer is lined up using a spirit level on all sides. The vent hose is at the rear and must always be pulled out during the drying process. Keep the areas around the dryer clean, otherwise fluff and dust will soon clog the filter. Good ventilation is recommended, else your tumble dryer will just suck in the moist air it has just output.

Bosch Tumble Dryers are generally reliable, we found ours quieter than some European rivals, results were good, taking around an hour to dry clothes. It's also fairly kind when it comes to overloading. Although of course Bosch Tumble Dryers should not be overloaded, it seems to us to be fairly forgiving if recommended loads are exceeded. In common with some other reviewers, we find extended warranties in general overpriced and cannot recommend them.

Can we recommend Bosch Tumble Dryers based on our experience? As value for money, the prices are slightly more expensive than direct competitor tumble dryers, but the results in our opinion are better. Certainly once the guarantee runs out anything can happen, and some manufacturers products appear designed to give up the ghost one week after expiry of the warranty.
